Glass Packaging Solutions for Contract Bottlers & Beverage Producers
Precision-molded glass containers engineered specifically to prevent filling-line jams, ensure hermetic closure torque, withstand pasteurization shock, and support multi-container scheduled releases.
Commercial B2B Supply Note: Standard line bottles from 30,000–50,000 pcs (subject to warehouse campaign cycles); custom proprietary molds start from 300,000 pcs with tiered mold refund amortizations.
Addressing Real Bottling Risks Before Containers Reach Your Conveyor
For contract packagers (co-packers) and industrial beverage brands, a bottle is not just visual branding—it is mechanical tooling. A variation of 1mm or an out-of-round neck can cost thousands of dollars per hour in conveyor line downtime.
Filling Line Jams & Tipping
Inconsistent bottom push-up, tilt, or diameter variances trigger star-wheel jams and conveyor trip-outs on automated rotary fillers.
CY Solution: Strict Verticality ≤1.5mm & base stability testing.
Cap Misalignment & Leaks
Defective thread profiles, sunken beads, or out-of-round bore diameters cause carbonation loss, micro-oxidation, or torque slippage.
CY Solution: 100% Go/No-Go plug gauge inspection per batch.
Thermal & Pressure Fracture
Inadequate glass wall distribution or unannealed residual stress leads to catastrophic bottle bursts during hot-fill or retort tunnel processing.
CY Solution: Guaranteed thermal shock delta ≥42°C and polariscope stress relief.
Staggered Line Disruption
Packaging arrivals that fail to match beverage production runs result in unfulfilled contract quotas, warehouse clutter, or stranded liquid batches.
CY Solution: Blanket-order shipping with tiered container dispatch schedules.
Engineered for High-Speed Mechanical Line Reliability
Whether operating at 3,000 BPH or 36,000 BPH, automated monoblock rinsers, fillers, and labelers require rigorous dimensional consistency. CY Glass controls the full mold lifecycle to ensure body roundness, verticality, and weight distribution perform predictably under conveyor pressure.
Guaranteed Hermetic Seal: Finish Meets Capper
The neck finish is the most critical quality gate in beverage bottling. A minor deviation in thread lead or sealing surface flatness destroys product freshness and risks shelf-life recalls. We pre-match our bottles with international closure standards.
Standard Formats & Dedicated Beverage Lines
From craft beer and pasteurized non-alcoholic sodas to cold-brew coffees and high-proof spirits, we provide tailored glass formulations in both High white and Crystal white flint grades, plus traditional Amber and Emerald Green.

Five-Stage Cold-End & Laboratory Quality Protocol
We do not rely solely on visual sorting. Every manufacturing run is validated against quantitative physical thresholds to ensure full compliance with international safety and automated line durability benchmarks.
Automated Optical Gauging
In-line optoelectronic camera inspection screening 100% of bottles for blisters, stone inclusions, neck checks, and body ovality.
Thermal Shock Testing
Batch samples subjected to immediate immersion transfer (hot-to-cold differential ≥42°C) without cracking or micro-fissuring.
Hydrostatic Pressure Test
Internal hydraulic pressurization ramped up to ≥1.2 - 1.6 MPa (depending on SKU specification) to guarantee carbonation safety.
Polariscope Stress Check
Optical polariscope measurement of annealed glass to confirm residual internal stress does not exceed Grade 2 on ASTM C148 scale.
Closure & Torque Validation
Sample capping with production closures to verify breakaway torque, re-seal security, and hermetic vacuum integrity.
Factory Audit & Compliance Specifications
Meets US FDA 21 CFR 174-190 standards and EU Framework Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 for heavy metal (Pb, Cd) extractable limits.
100% non-porous, inert soda-lime glass formulation. Excellent chemical durability (Type III) that will not alter beverage flavor or pH balance.
Every packed pallet includes unique batch-run barcodes linked to melt furnace temperatures, mold cavity ID, and inspection operator records.
We welcome SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or buyer-appointed QA inspectors for on-site container loading verification at our facility.

Proven Track Record: 40-Foot HC Container Fleet for Regional Distilleries
When a mid-sized beverage producer experienced high breakage rates and star-wheel jams from their previous supplier, CY Glass redesigned the bottle shoulder transition, controlled verticality to within 1.1mm, and supplied 40HQ containers on a monthly release cycle. Breakage on line dropped below 0.05%.
Global Supply & Export Coordination
Keep logistics and regional compliance as a shared capability rather than repeating the same content on every ICP Solution page. CY Glass can coordinate container planning, export packaging, documentation and common delivery terms according to the project.
Common Questions from Contract Bottling Buyers
Can you guarantee that a bottle will run on my filling line?
Line compatibility depends on the buyer's equipment, closure system, handling and actual bottle specification. CY Glass can review critical parameters and samples, but final line validation belongs with the buyer.
Do you provide pressure testing?
Relevant pressure-performance testing can be arranged for applicable bottle types and project requirements. It should not be assumed for every glass container.
Can you match closures?
Bottle neck finishes can be coordinated with selected caps, corks, bar-top stoppers, crown closures or other applicable systems.
Can you support scheduled repeat deliveries?
Repeat and scheduled supply programs can be discussed based on forecast volume, production lead time, SKU requirements and shipment planning.
