Crafting Excellence: A 16-Month Journey to the Perfect Spirit Bottle for New Zealand
2026-04-11
In the world of premium spirits, the bottle is more than just a container— (it) is a storyteller. Recently, we completed a bespoke project for a visionary client in New Zealand that perfectly illustrates our commitment to "patience, precision, and partnership."
From the first inquiry in late 2024 to the final shipment in March 2026, this project was a masterclass in collaborative design. Here is how we turned a conceptual sketch into a physical masterpiece.
Phase 1: Building the Foundation (Nov 2024 – Jan 2025)
The journey began in November 2024. Our New Zealand client approached us with a high-end spirit project that required a completely custom mold. We spent the first few months in deep technical consultations, discussing glass weight, clarity, and ergonomic handling.
By the time the 2025 Chinese New Year approached, we knew the client needed something tangible to hold. To bridge the gap during the holiday break, our engineering team produced a high-precision 3D printed model. We shipped this to New Zealand just before our doors closed for the festival, ensuring the client could refine their branding while we were away.

Phase 2: The Art of the Mold (Feb 2025 – Aug 2025)
Precision takes time. Following the Spring Festival, we moved into the mold-making phase. This was the most critical stage of the design process.
The client wanted to explore the tactile difference between embossed (raised) and debossed (engraved) logos on the glass body. Over several months, we:
l Developed two separate test molds.
l Produced two rounds of physical samples.
l Adjusted the glass distribution to ensure the intricate details were crisp and durable.
This iterative process allowed the client to compare the visual depth of each technique, eventually choosing the one that best captured the light and the essence of their brand.
Phase 3: Perfecting the Finish (Sept 2025 – Jan 2026)
With the bottle shape finalized and the deposit secured in September 2025, we shifted our focus to "Deep Processing"—the surface decoration.
Choosing the right printing method is vital for luxury shelf appeal. We provided side-by-side comparisons of Silk Screen Printing vs. Decal Printing (Firing). After rigorous testing, the client opted for Low-Temperature Decal Printing, which offered superior color vibrancy and durability for their specific logo colors.
To provide a complete packaging solution, we also designed and produced matching custom PVC capsules (shrink sleeves), ensuring the closure fit the neck finish perfectly.

Phase 4: Production & Delivery (Feb 2026 – March 2026)
After one final round of quality checks and another Chinese New Year break, we hit the "Go" button on mass production. Following a 35–40 day production cycle, the bottles were manufactured, decorated, inspected, and packed.
In March 2026, the full shipment of custom spirit bottles and accessories left our warehouse, bound for the beautiful shores of New Zealand.

The Result
While the client’s spirit product is currently in the "pre-launch" phase, the feedback on the packaging has been exceptional. This project stands as a testament to our philosophy: We don't just ship glass; we nurture brands.
Whether it takes six months or sixteen, our team is dedicated to the "long game," ensuring that every curve of the glass and every inch of the decoration meets the highest international standards.
