Unlike screw caps, T-top stoppers rely on an interference fit (press-fit). The shank diameter must be precisely matched to the bottle's inner neck diameter. We strongly recommend sending us your bottle drawing or physical glass samples to test the fit before ordering.
Bulk stock of natural cork stoppers must be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse with relative humidity kept between 50% and 70% and temperatures below 25°C (77°F). Excess humidity can cause mold on wood tops, while extreme dryness will cause the cork to shrink and lose its sealing memory.
For automated bottling lines, ensure the pneumatic plunger or capping jaw is fitted with a soft silicone or non-marring rubber pad. Excessive direct metal pressure on the top cap can scratch the anodized aluminum coating or crack plastic caps.
